- Obama is a charlatan. The right will never give you that. Romney is an upright citizen with brains and ability. And can even pass an Economics 101 class. Obama is a slick talking incompetent. You have been looking for a celebrity and you got it in Obama.

- It's because when you have someone as charismatic as Obama (I can't see it though), voters only hear what he says. He talks a big game. And especially, when things are tough economically like they are now, people only have time to listen for something that "sounds" like hope, not reality.

- We are at a crossroads. Obama would loooooovve Gingrich to be the Republican candidate. He will have a field day with his volatile history & it will be just a matter of time before Gingrich lets loose his wild personality.

- Gingrich is sounding more and more like Obama in 08. Smooth, very sarcastic, talker. An academic who "knows" a lot about history! Just like Obama he really has No executive experience, no matter how much he talks about all his great ideas.

- I'm with you. Cain's image and ideas were just too much to take a chance on. Someone was very afraid of him being the candidate against Obama. When the sexual harrassment claims weren't enough, this affair pops up. Whatever it takes to get someone out of the way - I'm just saying.

- Something has smelled about this from the beginning and I don't mean about Blagojevich. True, he's an arrogant loudmouth, but nowhere bright enough to pull off Senate-seat tampering. No, someone wanted him out of Illinois politics and there was enough manipulation and they got him out.

Where are you coming from with your biased opinions? I just so happened to reference this Blog to a class full of hopeful students, and I see you stated the journey is downhill? I would love to see where your downhill is so we will ensure the rest of America does not follow in your path.
Despite your political views, I am teaching a class full of students who have been disheartened since the Bush administration. Racially speaking, this is a predominately white area where the annual income is $75,000+. These students are now in fear of the state taking over our school system due to a levy not passing. Our "rich" fellowship of parents and neighbors do not have the extra funds to support our school system. Many stern Republicans have turned to Obama, not necessarily Democrat, in this area because there is nothing left, but hope. This hope is the promise of change. Now maybe you need to come sit in my AP Political Science class to grasp an understanding of what I am saying, but repetition through a broken record is what caused the election of Obama; not race or history. We will see what he does in retrospect of the promises made, but no one can make an instant change. This will take time, and he admitted this.
Hopefully, you will open your eyes or do some research. I have a classroom open and I also do tutoring for political science. Let me know!
